I've reviewed hundreds of questions so far, but my statistics show that I've only edited one, as can be seen in this screen shot (statistics are in the bottom-right area):

Is the back-end database really slow at updating these numbers, or could this just be related to the recent account merge problems?

Thanks in advance.

WARNING: If anyone's thinking to move this question over to meta.stackoverflow.com, please don't! I'm worried that it could cause my account to get merged and screwed up all over again because on that site my account name still shows up as "Complicated see bio" for me. – Randolf Richardson Nov 13 '11 at 15:57

With respect to your comment - having looked at your SU profile accounts list, it seems that none your site accounts are associated (presumably because of recent account issues), but the "complicated" MSO account still seems to be mixed - including a link back to your SU account - so might be worth asking a dev to look in again... – DMA57361 Nov 13 '11 at 16:28
With respect to the stats, are you taking actions via/from the review screen? Because I think it only counts those, not any activity taken by just finding questions the "normal" way. – DMA57361 Nov 13 '11 at 16:29

To clarify, your hundreds of reviews happened via the /review tool? I never had issues with my account and have edited hundreds of questions (enough for Strunk&White badge at least), but have barely used /review at all, and my numbers look similar. It probably only records actions performed from that interface. – Daniel Beck Nov 13 '11 at 16:33
@DMA57361: I click on "reviews" first (to view the page shown in the screen shot -- see the URI for an example of one such page), and then I click on any of the posts to review them. I hope that using my web browser's "Back" button (which is faster than click on "review" again) after voting/editing/flagging to select another question isn't the cause. – Randolf Richardson Nov 13 '11 at 18:17
@Daniel Beck: Yes, I click on "review" first. (I think I got that badge too.) – Randolf Richardson Nov 13 '11 at 18:18

@RandolfRichardson - your screenshot is, for some reason, missing the "Review Question" links (see this example). You have to click on that for any action/review to be counted (this is effectively what Simon's answer is saying), so the question is... why can't you see them? (May I recommend the usual Ctrl+F5 forced refresh, check in another browser, etc) – DMA57361 Nov 13 '11 at 19:13
@DMA57361: I've never seen those (and they're not there now). Also, on your screen shot, those are very faint, like the "11 hours ago" time stamp on your comment at this moment, so I wonder if other users with visual challenges might miss the review options completely -- a major option like this should not be faded out like that (I consider this to be a design flaw). But, why they're not showing up for me is odd, unless I don't have enough points yet (what's the minimum required?), but I don't rule out merge screw-up issues or original sign-up complications. Hmm. – Randolf Richardson Nov 14 '11 at 6:18

Reviewing like this isn't rep limited (I can do so on SO and English, for example, where I have 800 and 200), you pretty much just have to be logged on, so I doubt that is the cause of them being missing. I don't know what is though... :/ – DMA57361 Nov 14 '11 at 8:28

I feel this might be the issue that I initially ran into:

If you actually GO TO the question, and review/edit it there, then you will not get any statistics.

Any reviewing you do MUST BE DONE with the Review Question/Answer button. Clicking on the title of a question, and leaving the /review page will not contribute to your statistics on the side of the /review page

If this is true then it's really stupid. – Daniel Beck Nov 13 '11 at 18:19

@DanielBeck It is true. Tested it multiple times. – Simon Sheehan Nov 13 '11 at 18:20
@Simon Sheehan: Sorry, I'm having trouble making sense of your last paragraph. Could you re-word it? – Randolf Richardson Nov 13 '11 at 18:24

@RandolfRichardson I tried there. Fixed i hope – Simon Sheehan Nov 13 '11 at 18:27
@DanielBeck I don't know if it's true. Have to test more. meta.stackoverflow.com/q/112020/159624 – slhck Nov 13 '11 at 18:47
@Simon Sheehan: Thanks, but I think DMA57361's screen shot (in a comment to my question) might be showing what you're referring to? If so, it looks more like a link -- but if you really meant "button" then it's possible that I'm not seeing the buttons either. Hmm. – Randolf Richardson Nov 14 '11 at 6:21

@Randolf in your screenshot you appear to be missing the buttons... Very odd – Simon Sheehan Nov 14 '11 at 10:54
Simon Sheehan: +1 for your answer then. Is @DMA57361's screenshot also missing the buttons? I see only faded "review question" links on it (i.stack.imgur.com/TBpF6.png). – Randolf Richardson Nov 14 '11 at 17:20

@Randolf that's the link/button I'm talking about – Simon Sheehan Nov 14 '11 at 22:21
