Blue Screen of Death dupe derp at Super User

Question

Tags, so many, so fruitful, so plentiful and so raging with identity issues.

Take in this case at Super User, the dreaded Blue Screen of Death.

Or is it BSOD?

Or is it just bluescreen because you're mates and are on a first name basis?

Who shall live on and who shall die and be subsumed into the reigning one?

Gabriel Law? Connor MacLeod?

Quite right, should have been more to the point with the title.
I don't have edit capabilities here so I can't see, how do you format the text so that it shows up as a tag like that?

At one time there were three variations. So turning it off and on may have helped get rid of one.

BSOD for brevity sake. Maybe allow title values for acronyms/abbreviations? You mouse over, and up pops "Blue Screen of Death."

Now that synonyms are possible, these really need to be merged. There are currently 287 questions tagged bsod and 57 tagged blue-screen.
