May 27, 2017 at 17:23 comment added fixer1234 It looks like you gave up on this thread, which is a big waste. The question might have confused some people as to the best home for it, but it was technically fine and the answer was great. Consider undeleting it; it can benefit readers wherever it ended up. You can add a few sentences to the question clarifying that it applies to any platform. Sometimes threads get migrated to what may seem like a less ideal site for it, but people with the issue will still find it in a search. If you feel strongly about wanting it on SU, you could ask a moderator to migrate it back.
May 27, 2017 at 15:18 comment added Stevoisiak The reason I didn't include OS specific tags is that the question applied to all versions of Discord, including Windows, Mac, Linux, iOS, Android, and yes, web browser.

May 27, 2017 at 8:23 comment added fixer1234 What determines whether it's on-topic is whether the question is about a PC-based problem or a web app. The close voters may have only been familiar with the web app and assumed that's what you were referring to. The way to avoid that is to include details in the question that make the platform clear. Lack of PC-based tags (like OS) may have reinforced the wrong assumption.
