I asked a question asking how I can make Linux and Windows display the same time on the same computer.

At the time, the question was flagged as duplicate, and I accepted the duplicate as it solved my issue (making Linux and Windows display the same time).

However, I have edited the question to show I would prefer a command that would stop Linux from setting the hardware clock to UTC, rather then a Windows command/registry variable to change it. This would make it not a duplicate, as the duplicate question asks to change it in Windows, not Linux.

Can my question be unmarked as duplicate?

  • @DavidPostill Thanks! Could you add status-completed since this is finished? – Zackary Sep 19 at 17:51

[status-completed] is only used for bug reports ... – DavidPostill Sep 19 at 19:06
  • In the future all you need to do to get your question reopened is edit it and explain why it's not a duplicate. It will go into a queue where the community will review the question and if there's no concerns it will be reopened. – Twisty Impersonator Sep 27 at 2:08
