Why isn't reputation passed between Stack Exchange sites?
I don't understand it, why do we have to make our reputation separately on Stack Overflow, Server Fault and Super User even if the accounts are linked?

Why do deleted questions remove the reputation?
On a question on SU, I noticed I lost 80 rep because a good question was deleted. Why do the good answerers suffer if a question gets deleted? Is the information not pertinent?
