There's "enough" of a question there for me, but for the next person to come along? `¯\_(ツ)_/¯` "Unclear" is one of those things that is quite opinion based. What might seem unclear to you could be perfectly understandable to someone else. It depends quite a lot on your background, your understanding of the problem, and occasionally how you "hear" the question phrased in your head. But there's a good thing here. You really don't have to care an amazing amount, because we have a close/flag reason of "unclear what you are asking" that needs four other members of the community to agree with to put the question on hold. It's not *just* up to you to close things. Even at low reputation you can *[flag][1]* to close rather than cast an actual close vote, that flag should put the question into `/review`, where other users will look at it and decide whether it really deserves closure. So, if you think the question is painfully unclear, then use the close flag. If you just think it needs clarification then leave a comment, and maybe the close flag. Your choice. You can always retract the close flag later if you want. Though do bear in mind that you will not be able to re-apply the same flag. [1]: https://superuser.com/help/privileges/flag-posts
