Should older questions be flagged as duplicates of more recent ones if those have better answers?

For example, this question has been flagged as a duplicate of this one. The former one has been asked over 2 months later, but has better score and more accurate answers.

Technically speaking, it's obvious that this one is a duplicate. On the other hand, closing it will redirect users to a question with less useful answers.

Should we flag older question as a duplicate if the newer one is of better quality?
