Depending on what you're looking for, [Software Recommendations](http://softwarerecs.stackexchange.com) (currently in public beta) might be the right spot, but their requirements for questions is fairly stringent. (See their [Help Center](https://softwarerecs.stackexchange.com/help/on-topic).)
