Your MSU reputation is updated regularly (once an hour or so) from SU. In the mean time, the values can be slightly different due to caching.

On the contrary, there's been more user activity on meta lately, which leads to us being on meta more because there's stuff to respond to. Site mods automatically get an inbox notification when there's a meta post. When users start posting a whole bunch on meta, we see those notifications, and in turn respond. I'm not aware of any conscious effort to spend ...

It's been asked innumerable times on [Meta Stack Overflow] & status-declined. Quoting Jeff. I don't agree with this request. While "I agree" and "I disagree" is one way that votes can be used on meta, it is not the only way, and I don't want that indoctrinated into users as the "official" meaning of voting on meta. The current tooltips ...

Per https://meta.superuser.com/faq#questions Any question relevant to our community is welcome here So long as it's relevant to Super User, and not an angry subjective rant, it is generally allowed.

Superuser's one of the 'original' StackExchange sites, AKA the trilogy - we predate the foo.stackexchange.com sites, which I believe started with SE 2.0 So yeah, we're older and as such have a cool domain name.

Both exist, because they refer to different kinds of requests. Tag synonym requests These are about creation of tag synonyms, i.e. connecting two tags such that using them is equivalent, with both essentially having the same questions list. Bounties are a pretty dumb idea even on MSO. Don't get me wrong - I understand why folks use them, and you do a good job of outlining those reasons when trying to justify them for child metas... But it comes to "raising awareness", editing or answering to better justify or flesh out an idea is nearly always a better option. And when it comes to ...

The bug: Links across the two sites may confuse new users. This is why the link is not there at the moment and why I'm marking your bug as status-bydesign. The feature-request: Creating a new set of privilege pages for meta sites is doable, but it's a network-wide request which needs to be discussed on meta-so. I encourage you to discuss it there.

This will be fixed soon. I'll update when it's ready. Update: fixed now.

You might not get actual reputation on meta, but your posts still collect the upvotes and downvotes. And while the wording is off, that's still the same engine running the badge process. The normal vote actions, compared against the accepted answers and bounties, still play the same as if they were giving visible or actual rep changes.

I am against this on the basis that I disagree with your assessment of Child Metas having reputation. We only have reputation in Meta SU inasmuch as we have reputation in SU. Because posts and answers in Meta SU in no way affect our reputation numbers, reputation here is a static and unliving thing, merely a reference to our performance elsewhere and, ...

This is status-completed... just that SU now inherits somewhat of a MSU styling.
