I've been messing with computers since the mid 80's, when my parents bought an Apple ][e. Professionally, I've been involved in extracting 3d geometry from 2d photos, predictive maintenance for very large machines, creating speech interfaces for IVRs and analyzing core dumps. This has included working for startups, consultant work, a national laboratory and large corporations.
