I'm looking from a perspective of a new user, I think that's at least 95% of visitors. When they get to Meta for the first time, there should be an intuitive way to return to SU.
@DanielBeck that's exactly what I tried to do and it didn't work, so maybe that feature has been removed. UX design on SE sites is really good and I don't think such thing could be done by design.
@Braiam it was discussed before both for hardware-rec and for software-rec. My personal opinion is that we should get rid of them, but for now they are there and we just have to deal with it.
