I'm all in favour of some mechanism to remove the duff audit questions - as I'm currently suffering a month's ban for hitting the 'wrong' answer for the 3rd time this year, on an answer that pretty much said 'do some updates + link'. It wasn't link-only, even though that's what I was baulked for. Not being a good answer did not make it 'not an answer'. It makes me not want to even bother restarting the review process after the timeout elapses.
Have to agree, that looks very fuzzy - but as you see on my own answer, it's not as bad on my screen, & the Ask Different is better still, using Mac's native [webkit] anti-aliasing
Ah, OK - I see. Thanks for the clarification. I've a couple of 2k 27's here, no retina, but now I'm used to it, I really do like the AD font [with webkit AA]
I'm seeing some change, but the font is not the same as the new Ask Different site, is it? I didn't like that new one for about 2 weeks, now you couldn't pay me to have the old one back. So crisp, compared to the old version.
For those of us without a clue about java script, for instance - when flagging something that's clearly 'about coding' would you prefer a close flag or a migrate flag? Further examination of the depth of lustre on the turd scale would not be possible in such circumstance, as the reviewer 'doesn't understand the question'.
Also said - I didn't check the links to see whether they were 'good' answers, as I've learned that on SE giving a 'bad or incorrect' answer is not in itself reason to flag. i would only really check links carefully in review if there was a smell of spam or similar 'PUP' to the post. I always hover the link to check it goes where it appears to.
