@fixer1234 I totally agree with your idea, but many users just come here for instant solution and without willingness to learn (see the other answer of the linked the question, does exactly what you've suggested, and still mine is the accepted one), my question is about questions of those users.

Should we be copying other Stack Exchange sites Q&As so we can create "canonical" Q&As here?
Posting the link as an answer is fine. My question is what should happen to it if it's actually the answer to the problem? Should the question remain unanswered / should it be converted to am answer, if yes, by who?

Are hypothetical questions okay, or do I need to have an actual problem?
It's not clear from your question what "hypothetical" means for you. In the original meaning it can easily be too broad and not fitting here; but I've the feeling that it means for you "I don't have this problem, but somebody else can have it" (and also if you can even answer it), then it seems quite well fitting here.
