I need a page explaining to my customers how to check whether their Windows (any version) is 32bit or 64bit.

All I have found is How can I find out whether my Windows is 32 bit or 64 bit?How can I find out whether my Windows is 32 bit or 64 bit? which unfortunately says "specifically XP and Vista", so no answer talk about Windows 8 and Windows 10 (even though the procedure is different).

Should I create another question (with community wiki answer) about ALL Windows versions?
Or should I edit the question above to include later versions of Windows, and append the Windows 8 and Windows 10 ways to the top answer?

Rather than having a separate question for each version of Windows, I hope we can have a single QA explaining the procedure for all Windows versions, that would be much more worthwhile linking to, and such a page would probably be very popular.

Existing question does not cover recent versions: Extend or create new question?
