If you don't find the question helpful, vote, to indicate you don't find the question helpful. There is no "correct" action in a case like this. The community is moderated by, normal users, if 5 people agree the question should be closed it will be closed. If multiple people feel an answer is bad, it indicates to a moderator, the content should be deleted. With enough reputation you can vote to close yourself, if you don't have enough reputation, you can only suggest that vote be started by flagging it. | |
