I recently noticed a question I replied to some time agoa question I replied to some time ago had a very generic title, so I put in an edit to make it more specific to the problem described in the hope that it would lead more people to the question and make it more useful.

Unfortunately my editmy edit was rejected, because it "did not make the post more accurate", even though that was my intention.

Is it considered bad form to improve questions like this? Are old questions meant to be left alone?
