Why isn't reputation is not passed between superuser, stackoverflow and serverfaultStack Exchange sites?

Hi,

My question is in the title. I don't understand it, why do we have to make our reputation separately in stackoverflowon Stack Overflow, serverfaultServer Fault and superuserSuper User even if the accounts are linked?
