Oct 13, 2014 at 19:52 comment added G-Man Says 'Reinstate Monica' I've seen questions that were followed after just a few minutes by a comment or an edit by the OP asking, "Hello? Is anybody there?" Some newcomers apparently have serious misconceptions about the nature of the Stack Exchange members (i.e., that we're people, some of whom have lives, or at least need to sleep occasionally) and the nature of time zones. It seems like some people just go away and never come back if their question doesn't get an answer within n hours. These people might actually appreciate getting a message "pushed" to them telling them that they have an answer.
