In the first lesson in my info-sec class I learned how bad the German term "Sicherheit" is, which can be translated to either security or safety, which makes it hard to distinguish between two very different topics, that are often diametral when designing a system.

I was a bit baffled when I tagged a question with safety and it got synonymized to security.
I am not worried about the security of my system at all, but I am certainly worried about the safety of my endeavor.

What was the reason to do this? I don't think it was a good idea and propose to un-synonymize them.
