Question closed as dup but link to duplicate is a dead link
I don't know why Random deleted that; I think it's a valid question, though perhaps the duplicate has a better rationale and reason for asking.

Why was my question moved, and why was it then deleted off of the original site?
There is a process that automatically deletes migration stubs after 30 days. Since we auto-redirect on deletion to the target site, the migration stubs are of no lasting value on the source site.

Why are questions off-topic for Super User being migrated from other trilogy sites?
To be fair, we changed the close dialog so the default close reason is now simply OFF TOPIC -- when in doubt, 3k rep users are supposed to choose off topic, not randomly pick a site to migrate it to.
