The Great [tag-cleanup-request] status-tag cleanup of 2024

We appreciate the assist. I've retagged everything that I felt comfortable retagging, which is pretty much all but 2 posts. I didn't label the status-declined posts cause I did them at a sitting, and …

The monster that can't be killed

The tag was blocklisted by a community manager and can no longer be used. It was subsequently burninated, obliterated, and otherwise disintegrated.

Consider blocklisting the [microsoft] tag?

Looks like its happening. We'll try to trickle in edits over the next few days as time allows. In the interests of efficiency and less front page messiness we might be cleaning up unanswered questions …

Popping the [party] tag

We had a party tag. It was unambigiously a meta tag, and only had 3 posts using it. One was grossly off topic. The other two did not suffer from lack of it. The party is over.

Tag cleanup: Delete the tag [collecting]

While we typically wait for community consensus on tag cleanups, meh, there's only 4, and its not quite right on most of them. The tag has been properly mauled. Let me know if I missed any

Remove [asus-g73jh] tag

Just delete them, and don't change them to asus - we'd prefer not to have company specific tags. I'd do it myself, but meh, why should I have all the fun. Just let us know once this is done so I can s …
