Proposed resolution : Quoting cannot be called plagiarism
@Ramhound Thanks, point taken. That'd be a good answer. It is still not plagiarism though (and imho quote-only answers can be helpful, but that's another debate).

@Ramhound thanks, that would be a more informative answer. Still not plagiarism though, and a dozen quote-only answers is nowhere close to the other mod.

You wrote "Quoting with appropriate sourcing isn't plagiarism". AFAIK, OP has always quoted with appropriate sourcing. Yet, OP's "account is temporarily suspended for plagiarism". Why?

@JourneymanGeek ok. did OP plagiarize?

Giacomo1968, your entire post is a personal aggression against the OP. You don't address the fact that the OP was accused of plagiarism whereas they only clearly quoted some text. And you don't address the fact that the OP was suspended for doing so in a few answers, whereas a mod did the same in ~200 answers.

@JourneymanGeek When someone is accused of plagiarism because they properly quoted a source, I don't need details: this is a false accusation. Both SO and SU use English.

Why do people attempt to discourage long well-written answers by instant AI accusations?
"I'd say people are frustrated with AI" Don't include me in this, I'm fine with AI.

Asking about the popularity of a package manager
No idea why the two previous commenters think one can't objectively quantify popularity.

Why did one mod close this question on removing the password on several RAR files at once as a duplicate?
@Ramhound "You can't perform a batch process to remove the password from a compressed archive without some sort of script that performs that task." Could be done via UI

@Giacomo1968 I am not showing any effort that is part of the “research” issue because it isn't required.

@Giacomo1968 "You seem more concerned about proving some philosophical point and “rule-lawyering”, No, I'm concerned about having clear close policies, and consistent applications of these policies.
