How are we going to deal with Windows 8 on ARM?
Sure, let's go with that. I'm trying to script automatic backups using cron and the subset of ordinary Linux utilities that ship on WebOS. On topic so long as I carefully avoid mentioning my device ("For reasons I cannot go into, I don't have gzip on this machine")? On topic as long as I don't touch on the GUI? Or completely off-topic unless I happen to be talking about WebOS on the TouchPad?

Worth noting here that the bulk of your rejected edits were to tag wikis... Which you'll still not be able to edit without approval, even at 2K. The larger question is a good one though.

Make reviewers explain why they accept a suggested edit
Naturally, any user of any site is welcome to post on MSO if they so desire. But badgering users to do so - or closing their requests if they don't - is discouraged.

"One question to rule them all" questions on SuperUser

Force tag wiki creation when a tag is created
Note that there are some restrictions in place on creating new tags for this very reason.

inserting a line break in a comment
@soandos: no. In fact, you have to go out of your way to even get newlines in a comment. If you have something that needs newlines to be readable, consider putting it into an answer...
