Reputation unusually low for answer with high upvotes
@JourneymanGeek If you notice his rep history, you'll notice he's been earning rep since his account was first created. By the way, it's "Jon", not "John".

Raise the minimum rep needed to create new tags
I think you should just try increasing the threshold to 1k or 1.5k temporarily to see what happens (whether the tag destroyal rate goes down/number of tag cleanup requests changes). We can revert it if it becomes a problem. I think so because in my opinion, the stats you have given don't adequately represent the full situation (because they don't represent removed tags), and because of the large amount of moderator and community support.

@Braiam There's somethings wrong with that new list. Some of them are duplicated (e.g. untagged), and some of them were removed but were recreated and still exist today (e.g. microsoft-word-2011).

@Shog9 Please ask the devs to make it possible to determine who created now-destroyed tags, as I think we prematurely destroyed those before their use propagated. This way the stats will be full-on and not just the good ones sifted out of the mix.

tag + tag-version, or just tag-version?
Not in all cases; we (you) recently unified the tags virtual-pc (the general tag) and windows-virtual-pc (the version-specific tag) into a single tag.

A new way to clean up tags
I do believe that most of the problems here would have been fixed by wikilocking ("This question's answer is a collaborative effort; if you see something that can be improved, just edit to improve it! No additional answers can be added here") the old post (preventing non-mods from editing it and preventing new answers without having to resort to closure). However, this new procedure is better than the old one on several other respects.

Well, then, in order to attract more viewers, you should probably put the English text first and then the other language text.

Official policy for editing code in answers?
I should mention that there is a special notification "code edited on [question|answer]" that appears when code is edited in addition to ant other edits made to the question. On the other hand, when code is not edited, it will merely say "[question|answer] edited".

Can someone explain how I got +2 rep points for editing this question
You should also add that there is a hard limit of 1,000 reputation earned from approved suggested edits. After that, you can continue to suggest edits, but you won't earn any reputation for getting them approved.

Let's bring [tables] to the table
@Excellll Not really. The tag cd is well-documented to mean the cd command, but many users misuse it for the optical media (i.e. the tag compact-disc).

Why are generic flags not available for low score answers?

Can we see the posts we (helpfully) flagged?
You can see a brief preview of deleted questions (not answers) you helpfully flagged and were deleted in your flag history by mousing over the link, even if you have < 10k rep, though...

Oh, and there's one exception to the rule that you lose rep if you suggest an approved edit to a later-deleted post: if your suggested edit was to a tag wiki, and the tag is later burninated/manually removed, you get to keep the reputation (it will show up as editing an "orphan wiki").
