Why do I need 10 reputation to answer stuff here?
@Sathya Doesn't protection start at 3 deleted posts?

@SLaG Bug fixes will be propagated to all SE sites (all changes that aren't site specific are). This report was sufficient.

Why do migrated questions earn the poster -2 rep
The reputation on accepted answers isn't lost -- it just moved to a different site. Register an account there, and you'll probably have 103 reputation.

Receive notifications when one's own questions are linked to in another post?
No / No / Probably not: Notifications will probably be pretty annoying once you've contributed for a while (the 'nice answer' badge notifications become annoying as well after a while), and this feature could probably be abused; rep will be awarded regularly through additional readers that are directed to your posts.

Should we have closing guidelines with examples?
If in doubt, don't close? 'Off topic' and 'duplicate' have been covered in great detail on MSU in the past. 'not a real question', 'not constructive', and 'too localized' have been removed and 'unclear', 'too broad', and 'opinion-based' added -- so everything about the former is obsolete, while the latter are probably too new for a lot of specific issues to have come up. Are you asking about something in particular?

Synonymize [tfs] with [team-foundation-server]
I left the tag wikis alone, because
tfs
's didn't actually explain anything.

How to ask more when a question already exists by other author?
I'd go with a bounty, stating you want more details.

How to know who downvoted you?
@Math Even if there was no meta, web sites or web apps are off topic on Super User.

Why was this 2011 question bumped to the front page?
Bonus info: In the right side of the sidebar, it says active today. Click today, and it'll take you to the new or changed post (and show its ID in the URL). If there's no such post, it's already deleted. Earn 10,000 reputation and you can see deleted posts (spoiler: You'll sometimes wish you couldn't :-) )

Can we make the font size when using "#" in markdown smaller?
Isn't the only reason it's too large that most posts are too short to actually use it? For example,
h1
works pretty well in this long answer.

What is "not an answer" supposed to mean?
It's even status-planned. (CC @Karan)

Super User's new Twitter name
Nice. But... why would anyone @-mention an automated newsfeed of average questions?

Why doesn't Super User have a "top percentage" link in the user profile like Stack Overflow?
Looking at the privilege milestones: You're in the top 5% with 200 all time reputation. You're in the top 1% with 1000 reputation. A single up vote (+5 rep) or confirmed suggested edit (+2) elevates you to the top 1% this week (if the reference is the total number of users). SU can offer very little progression since it's a much smaller site, less than one 10th of the users.

Including a reference to the proposed "Software Recommendations" site
Also, note that the vast majority of Example Questions are basically on topic here if the users bothered to rephrase their question. "How can I record all application audio output on Ubuntu?", "How can I play 10 bit videos on Windows?", "How can I convert image files from TGA to PNG on KDE?", "How can I create screen shot files in a specific folder on Ubuntu?" -- The ones we don't like are covered by
alternativeto.net
(or Wikipedia) anyway, or extremely specialized with a laundry list of desired features (and none of the examples are like that).

Including a reference to the proposed "Software Recommendations" site
Even if this were a good idea (it's not IMO), it'd be months too early. What use is a proposal of a site to someone seeking concrete advice now?

"You need at least 2k reputation to review Suggested Edits."
'Next' is the only button that doesn't make sense here, as it skips this post and continues reviewing other stuff. But yeah, it shouldn't even be shown...
