When I first came to SU, if I flagged a comment, it would vanish. Back then, mods seems to have a deletionist tendency towards flags. Nowadays, mods almost always decline comment flags.

But things went outright outrageous yesterday: I flagged two instances of idle chatter in the comment section of "https://superuser.com/questions/1206525/is-flashplayer25pp-xa-compatible-with-npapi". Both were declined.

To put it politelyThe problem is quite clear: The rule of the law does not exist in SU. The core purpose of the law is for everyone to know what is right, somethingwhat is definitely wrong here, what's the punishment for doing the wrong thing, and when the punishment comes, know exactly why it came.
