Sep 28 at 20:41 | comment | added | George Ntoulos | @JoepvanSteen I am basically asking why the question it was considered a duplicate of was closed. People just need this question closed. They don't care whether it is actually a duplicate. How exactly is it a duplicate?

Sep 27 at 23:02 | comment | added | Ramhound | @GeorgeNtoulos - I would have just reposted my question.
Sep 27 at 22:55 | comment | added | George Ntoulos | @Ramhound We are on the meta site. I was limited to reopen-requests. Questions with the tag in meta. "because you received an answer it would not accept that answer. " Word salad. It would not accept that answer? Who would not accept which answer?
Sep 27 at 22:45 | comment | added | Ramhound | @GeorgeNtoulos - “I asked once for it to be reopened not thrice.” - Every time you edited the question and selected the option to put it in the reopen queue also counts as asking to reopen it. Your meta question asking to reopen the question was closed because you received an answer it would not accept that answer. I am not going to entertain this conversation by submitting an answer. You already have a solution to the problem, repost the question at the correct Community, reopening your question won’t happen
Sep 27 at 20:22 | comment | added | George Ntoulos | @Giacomo1968 I did not get "No!" for an answer I got no answer. Instead I got closure. As for the prejudice it belongs to the prejudiced. I have no prejudice. I am making every effort possible to understand how these communities work.
Sep 27 at 19:21 | comment | added | Kamil Maciorowski | @GeorgeNtoulos If (if!) you are trolling then you're pretty good at it, because I'm 90% convinced you are not trolling. If you are not trolling then I'm letting you know your modus operandi looks like sophisticated trolling to me. Of course we shall in good faith assume you are not trolling (and I can see how this would be perfect if (if!) you were trolling). Anyway, be aware there is the duck test.
Sep 27 at 18:30 | comment | added | George Ntoulos | @Giacomo1968 Shame on the prejudiced. Blame them not me.
Sep 27 at 18:27 | comment | added | George Ntoulos | @Ramhound Please post answers as answers. The sole reopen request meta.superuser.com/questions/15291/heavy-handed-moderation was closed as off topic. It was considered of topic. It was the only reopen request. It wasn't even marked as a duplicate but off topic. I asked once for it to be reopened not thrice.
Sep 27 at 18:18 | comment | added | George Ntoulos | @Giacomo1968 I am not trying to change the behavior of Stack Exchange sites.
Sep 27 at 17:16 | comment | added | Ramhound | @GeorgeNtoulos - Here is where you ask to have something reopened, once you ask and a discussion is had, you eventually have to drop the subject of the community ends of not believing the question should be reopened. You know that behavior, you asked that should be avoided, asking a third time for a question that is out of scope to be reopened only so it can be migrated is that behavior you should stop. Stop asking for the question to be reopened.

Make title the actual question. Tag appropriately.

Sep 27 at 2:00 | comment | added | George Ntoulos | @Robotnik The three questions are different. This one is asking about the scope of the reopen-request tag in the Meta site. meta.superuser.com/questions/15291/heavy-handed-moderation This question was a reopen-request. meta.superuser.com/questions/15290/…. This question was about the place to ask the question (asking about the scope of the main site might be more fitting to describe the question)
Sep 27 at 1:56 | comment | added | George Ntoulos | @Robotnik I had asked in the Engineering.SE more than a couple of days before people voted to delete it. music2myear, Giacomo1968, Toto deleted it. It wasn't automatically deleted. They didn't even wait for the straight simple answer. People should have asked around before deleting to close it.
Sep 27 at 0:50 | comment | added | Robotnik | This is your 3rd meta on the topic of how your question was handled: 1, 2. The question was closed, passed through the review queues multiple times, and was deleted. You asked around, and found that it's on-topic for Engineering. But rather than re-ask the question on Engineering, you're wasting time arguing about it not being migrated. Or claiming mods were being heavy handed/pedantic. Or worrying about rate limits on asking. All of that time spent could have instead been spent posting your actual question about LED screens over on Engineering.
Sep 26 at 21:48 | comment | added | George Ntoulos | @Mast I was not question banned in SuperUser, Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, StackOverflow, Meta.SE. I have been question banned in Medicine and Biology but I don't understand how that changes anything (these sites are irrelevant to the question). I have not been question banned in SuperUser or any "candidate" for migration?
Sep 26 at 21:29 | comment | added | Mast | Ah, you were question banned there. That does change things.
Sep 26 at 19:48 | comment | added | George Ntoulos | @Mast Please post this as an answer that I can accept. But then why is meta.superuser.com/questions/15291/heavy-handed-moderation off-topic? Please discuss why the specific reopen-request is off-topic.
Sep 26 at 19:46 | comment | added | George Ntoulos | @JoepvanSteen There is a very specific tag in Meta meta.superuser.com/questions/tagged/reopen-request. This question was not about How to reopen a question in the main site. This question asked about the scope of a meta tag.
Sep 26 at 19:35 | comment | added | user705502 | Reopen does not have to be requested. You edit question to address reason for closure, tick the appropriate box to indicate edits are intended to improve question, and with enough votes question will be reopened.

Sep 26 at 19:28 | comment | added | Mast | Where to make such requests? Here. So if you have a question you think is closed yet should be open, state your case here. For best effects, state it clearly.
Sep 26 at 19:08 | comment | added | George Ntoulos | @JoepvanSteen If it was discussed ad nauseam so be it. It was closed as off-topic and in this question I am asking about the scope of the meta (where do I make such requests).

Improving the question making clear I am asking about the scope of meta
|
Sep 26 at 18:58 | comment | added | George Ntoulos | @JoepvanSteen Because I made one such request and it was closed as off-topic. I could edit the question accordingly if you belieave I should.
Sep 26 at 18:55 | comment | added | user705502 | That's not what you're asking.
Sep 26 at 18:54 | comment | added | George Ntoulos | @JoepvanSteen The issue was the scope of the meta. Where can make requests to reopen questions on Superuser main Stackexchange?
Sep 26 at 18:49 | comment | added | user705502 | Please raise an issue that can be constructively discussed. If you have encountered a problem or bug on one of our sites, please describe it in detail.
