Sep 27, 2011 at 12:33 comment added Sathyajith Bhat Mod @slhck the synonym was a suggestion for RedGrittyBrick's question as to prevent creation of kvm once again after doing the rename
Sep 25, 2011 at 21:30 comment added slhck @DanielBeck mac-os-x is gone now. Sathya, I personally would split up the tags into two different ones, and not introduce synonyms. I'm still not sure if adding synonym in these cases is really the best way (same goes for this one, as Atom processors will be more dominant in the future than Atom XML feeds).
Sep 25, 2011 at 14:17 comment added Sathyajith Bhat Mod @DanielBeck Unfortunately some people don't seem to understand the concepts very well. I'm still waiting for some consensus on this approach, though
Sep 25, 2011 at 14:10 comment added Daniel Beck Mod It remains to be seen if this works. My guess is, quite a few users won't get it. Otherwise we wouldn't have mac tagged software questions, osx related questions tagged mac-os, or the mac-os-x tag.
Sep 25, 2011 at 14:08 comment added Sathyajith Bhat Mod @DanielBeck the main tag is shown in the popup but with the synonym highlighted i.imgur.com/3om1u.png
Sep 25, 2011 at 7:38 comment added Daniel Beck Mod osx isn't a synonym. Do synonyms really appear as normal tags when selecting them?
Sep 25, 2011 at 6:46 comment added Sathyajith Bhat Mod @DanielBeck it'll be something like this: i.imgur.com/Cdj26.png
Sep 24, 2011 at 15:29 comment added Daniel Beck Mod Is it obvious to users that selecting kvm will map to a different tag? Or will we get kvm-switch tagged questions about Linux virtualization?
