The gravest offense committed by that question is that it just pastes the entire problem that the OP is trying to solve into the question, then the OP just throws up their arms and asks the answerer to develop a solution for them. "Where do I start?" or "How do I approach this problem" might be better questions, but "give me the finished solution" is an extremely lazy, irresponsible, and offensive way of asking a question, and deserves to be handled as such.
Jun 17, 2014 at 16:17 | comment | added | Samir | @Sathya Maybe, just maybe, he expects the good folks at SO to fill in the gaps? :) Are you up for it? That's never a good idea. Users should really put some thought and effort into formulating their questions and describing their problems. I don't understand how some users expect others to answer their questions just by reading between the lines, by making assumptions about what they meant to ask.

Jun 17, 2014 at 14:12 | comment | added | BenjiWiebe | @Sathya I don't know it will be closed there. I just think it MIGHT be. So is that the correct way to do things? Just flag as off-topic?
