@gparyani Following the complete gutting of [status-planned] on tag cleanups, I've modified that last paragraph and query to better reflect the current status-quo. I hope you don't mind, feel free to roll-back if you think it's too far :)
The Rat's nest of tags is, ironically, a rats nest of a discussion, with not-quite-requests to remove, merge or synonymise a whole subset of tags, which doesn't include [gtd] except for one link in the question. Thus, I've nominated this meta to be reopened - as being duplicated to that discussion isn't doing it any favours in terms of getting things done (2nd irony, ha). In other words: let's treat this meta as it's own request (to delete/merge [gtd] to [productivity]), and not as a subset of the rats nest.
