Let's pull the plug on [plugins]
I agree with removing "plugins" generically but "firefox-plugins" is not the same thing at all as "firefox".

Merge [email-rules] and [email-filter]
I partly agree, because I don't think most people make much distinction. For me, a rule is something users do on their E-mail client and filters are something I apply at the MTA level, but its mostly a distinction without a difference.

How does one become a top contributor and solves computer problems independenly?
If you're not good at answering a subset of questions, answer the ones you are good at instead. If you're not good enough to answer any subset, read random answers to find interesting commands and options to learn about the features you didn't know existed. In my experience, those who want to learn end up learning.

Is it okay to send someone to a different forum to get an answer?
I'd like to add that I prefer answers that include source material. That is to say, if 'somewhere else' gave me the answer, I prefer to share that source in my own answer. Its not a redirect, but the additional "and here's where to look for such specific information about this software" is also helpful on its own.

Please vote on proposed changes to our policy on tablet computers
I would strongly consider having a tablet-specific version of superuser instead of integrating those questions here.
