In what cases do I see a more elaborate off-topic close reason?
Because it's noisy and presumably less important when it's not your own question.

Good - I've reproduced this & passed it along.

Does this only happen when the comments are added while you're writing an answer (that is, you're notified of them via the live update feature)?

How do we keep dead tags dead?
@Isaac: the user experience for blacklisted tags is pretty bare-bones - it just tells you you can't use it, it doesn't suggest better tags or offer synonyms that might clarify what you're trying to say. So for companies, if that's the obvious tag then there probably needs to be some viable alternatives created before blacklisting. Simply banning the tag doesn't necessarily do anything more than change the appearance of the whack a moles.

How do we keep dead tags dead?
@user99572isfine: because all blacklisting does is block the recreation of the tag. It doesn't stop the folks recreating it from switching up and creating new lousy tags. Generally, the posts that result in this stuff have to be retagged manually anyway in order to not suck.

Could we have a less obvious review audit user?
Yup - so far as I'm aware, Mr Chan is a real person.

Stupid changes to “close as duplicate”
That's only an issue if the user's accounts don't get associated, @Dennis - which is a problem you'll need a moderator's help (or the asker's cooperation) to solve anyway. We've been working for some time to reduce the likelihood of this happening in the first place.

Probably worth checking the *timing* on votes too - that adds another one

Stupid changes to “close as duplicate”
Thanks @Daniel! I failed to realize that AnswerScore was nullable, excluding questions with answers that'd never been voted on - this yields 21 results for the past 90 days. Altered the query to actually check the timing on votes - should include all questions where no answers had received an up-vote at the time the close vote was cast now.
