Will look into it. It was working recently and nothing was added or changed on the system. Let's see if we can trace the issue. Thanks for the pointers. Will get back soon.

@Mokubai - It was working fine until yesterday/ 2 days back. Will try with a fresh reboot and above suggested stuff.

Its not a workaround.. Its a means to an end question. For the password thing also someone asked How to do X, and people gave great answers to that.. Its not even so much a software rec.. its a How to do X..

If a password management question can be allowed why not a restriction bypassing mechanism? :) Kinda similar logic? I am not china restricted just when I am out of US and traveling then I need access and it bothers me. Can I pose a US specific question?

Should I flag questions as off-topic if they are already upvoted and answered?
If someone posts completely off topic. E.g. Beauty tips in Super User, then flag it, delete it. If it is on the border; SE, So, & computer/ tech subjects can end up in either depending on flavor.. Mods should move it.
