How long can a flag be active?
@50-3 Close votes expire. Might be interesting to learn whether close flags expire as well, unfortunately I don't know. Do you think it makes sense for me to delete this answer, now that you changed your question?

How long can a flag be active?
@50-3 Again, on these flags, there's no (diamond) moderator handling them. They generate an entry in the review queue, and as long as these aren't handled, your flag shows up as active. See my edited post.

Circular duplicates aren't handled in an intuitive way
My bad. I checked that there were no votes on the question I left open, but didn't consider flags.

Badges and potential retire
In a way, Beta could be considered retired. But it's obvious from the requirement that it won't be awarded anymore.

Calling all bloggers!
I think a byline also wouldn't be a problem: Fischer is the Wile E Coyote professor of ACME product testing at the eXcellence Kriegsmarine College of Demolitions. You can read more of his incoherent ramblings on his blog or on Twitter. Not sure about more prominent links though. They shouldn't lead to worse posts ("This is just the teaser, continue on my blog") in any way.

What is the tenacious badge?
Small correction; anyone can get 20% zero score answers, it's the accepted flag that counts ;-)

Why is this user having to suggest an edit on his own answer?
It's not a bug. The user had two accounts and apparently had them merged after suggesting the edit.

Can you add the UNIX&Linux SE to the available migration groups?
FWIW there were only four migrations to U&L in the last 90 days (probably because there's almost never a reason to migrate as random mentioned). The five slots we have are used by MSU (by convention) and the top four migration destinations. Which of Web Apps (83 migrations), SO (57), Android (54) and SF (38) would you remove to add U&L?

@mdpc No reason to migrate without the asking user explicitly wanting it.

Apple.SE as off-topic migration path
@danielAzuelos Stats were from the 90 days up to July 10, 2011. Please note that, as slhck mentioned in a comment to your question, I've since reconsidered. Also, Android overtook Apple, and we only had 18 migrations to Apple in the last quarter. The situation's apparently changed quite a bit – the top four destinations (+Meta Super User) are now official migration paths, with Gaming having been replaced by Android!
