Why was my question relating to the speed of the Mac Appstore in China closed as "too localized, etc."?
It is also localised in time (i.e. even if the Mac App Store, as compared to other websites/services, is slow for the entirety of China, it might not be tomorrow), and (as Diago said below) is unlikely to be answerable by anyone who doesn’t work for the Mac App Store, your ISP, or the Chinese government.

Will iPad be acceptable subject matter for Super User? I guess not?
@Frank: I’m totally with you. I bet when the Mac debuted, there was a sizeable community of people who thought it wasn’t a real computer because it had a GUI. Excluding iOS from Superuser seems really short-sighted. @David: “I'd define a real computer as one I can use to program itself”. I look forward to the day Apple releases XCode for iOS. I give it 10 years tops.
