@>"anyone with 150 points on the site can vote" Who "can" vote in an election, and who ACTUALLY votes (which is what I said) are two separate things. Voters are mostly people devoted to sites like this. In the case of the bullies, the "devotion" comes from the "kick" they get from abuse.
@Ian Kemp Because this question was asked here, not on Quora. Quora was given as evidence of people leaving Stack Exchange in droves. I am sharing an opinion not "spouting" one. For a good example of hostility discussed here, look in the mirror.
