@DanielBeck, actually despite my rep it wouldn't let me because 'tail' was a tag already and it thought I meant the plural of that, which I don't. But edited to give an example.

@Ramhound, what about when the stable does not provide a feature that a user requires, so the beta is their only option? And perhaps they are stuck in beta for a few months? And perhaps, even years later, there's a regression or similar bug? It can still be useful information to have.
