Hi Super Users! I'm Grace Note from Gaming, here to make a polite request for now.
As you may have noticed, our FAQ states that there is no "official standpoint" when it comes to game recommendationsA finalized ruling has been made. InWhile I don't know if you even got any during the midst of this lack of official standpointdecision period after my request, there is often fightingI nevertheless thank everyone here for listening and discomfort that arisesrespecting my earlier request (which you may re-read in each subsequent game recommendation: one group of users will vote to close, then others might argue against the closing, or alternatively it just won't get closed. It's very inconsistent, and we're working on thatrevision history).
We are in the midst of a decision process to make a finalizedOur official policy on the subject. ThisGaming is slated to finish on December 23rd, 2010No Game Recommendations. I plan to update this postSo, keeping in tune with the finalized ruling.
Until thenprevious request, I am requesting that youI'd like to expand my request's formerly temporary nature to the following: please do not migrate game recommendations to Gaming for now. I'd like to reduce the amountNow, instead of people who havebeing to deal with our in-fightingavoid confusion, and a good step is to prevent people from having to experience it at all. It doesn't feel good at all to have your question migrated to a destinationit's because those questions no longer belong on the site, and then closed as off-topic. I'm sure this community has had a lot of experience with wrongful migrations that just would be closed as offpost-topicmigration - an act that still poses no point. So I hopeIf you can understand my requestencounter any from this point forward, andI ask that you please simply close them as off-topic for now. You can refer them to this post, if you would likehere.
