Yeah registration is all over the place, with questions from software activation to software registration to even DLL registration(!). Definitely needs to go.

The DOS tag is ambiguous
Points 1 & 2 are very much preferred. Since each question will have to be looked at, there isn"t any automated way of doing this.
I suggest taking the questions in batches and spacing out the edits …
