Should Super User actively seek out partnerships/sponsorships with other companies?
@terdon Said that before I read your post. The forced positive review spin does trouble me...

I, for one, support the idea. Could we also get the cool logo tags that SO has?

When reviewing edits, what is considered a minor change?
I would accept changes to misleading titles if it's a new/active question. A better title usually means more views, and a lot of titles are just plain awful.

Are diagnostics/troubleshooting issues on-topic and not too localized?
"The visitor may find the question through a search engine only to realize that it is about something completely unrelated to their problem." Reminds me of every freaking time I end up on social.technet.

Closing virus-related-issues questions
This sounds like a bit of an edge case to me. If licensing (or anything else) prevents format/install from being a solution, backups need to be available (What if the HDD dies?) There's also no way of having certainty that 100% of the virus has been removed. All future problems with the machine could be the result of the virus.

How to migrate a Not Constructive question when it's not off topic?
@KevinFegan 'erm... as odd as this sounds, I wouldn't call Amazon Web Services a web service. I don't really know how to give a definitive reason, but in my mind it's not too different than dedicated hosting.

Are there optimal days/hours to post questions in order to get visibility and answers?
I find it interesting that across most SE sites, the peak times seem to be typical US working hours.

Should you answer a question that you know will get closed?
I like the CW idea. There's some questions that I would like to answer but I feel silly gaining any rep from, and even sillier answering the question when I know my name will end up on
Closed by:
. Seems like a good way to sidestep the issue.

Hmm, it was pretty clear to me that the question would be closed as NC, but I definitely see your point about silly users posting anywhere. +1

@nhinkle Ah, good point. I didn't think to address that. While it's true most the time, it isn't always the case. Edited a little to explain.

This doesn't make sense to me. The question is considered not constructive for Super User. Why couldn't we have done the migration for the user considering the question was likely to be (and was) closed?
