Alias nvidia to nvidia-graphics-card
@jww, LOL. Yeah, if you specifically search using [nvidia], there aren't any matching results. But it took you 5 minutes to figure it out? More coffee might have shortened that time. :-) The thing is, there are a bunch of nvidia tags, so synonomizing nvidia with [nvidia-graphics-card] would return misleading results, excluding the other tags. Entering nvidia in the search box on the tag page returns everything. If we synonomize it, someone else will complain that their search returned only partial results. Search with the word "nvidia" instead of the tag.

Alias nvidia to nvidia-graphics-card
@jww, Nvidia is commonly known for their graphics-related hardware, but they're also into other stuff, like parallel processing and AI. In any event, a separate, synonomized tag isn't really needed because as soon as the user starts typing nvidia in the tag area, [nvidia-graphics-card] automatically pops up.

Why can't I ask questions on Super User?
@Linux_user0987, go to the Activity tab of your profile and select the Questions tab. At the bottom is a text button, "deleted recent questions". That will show questions that were deleted in the recent past (I think "recent" includes a few months, if I remember right).

Why is this question about VMware Workstation's Record/Replay feature off-topic?
When lots of those questions were coming in, people allowed some leeway on "which version of Firefox do I need to continue using feature Y?". The question you cite has a different problem. The title is a question. The question body appears to be more of an answer, coupled with a request for general discussion. The stated closure reason is just one of several issues making it a poorly written question.

Why is this question about VMware Workstation's Record/Replay feature off-topic?
Questions based on "what software provides this feature?" are typically viewed as falling under software recommendations. Granted, which release of software X marked the beginning or end of feature Y, is slightly different, and there's some precedent when a major coding change affects it. For example, there are lots of questions about certain features of Firefox changing with the introduction of Quantum. These were generally on-topic when worded, "why did feature Y suddenly stop working?". (cont'd)

Is it possible to create a Stack Exchange account without Facebook or Google accounts?
@DOBRESCU_Mihai, I didn't use Google to register, but I assume that when you created the site account, you specified a password. Whatever that was is all you need.

@DOBRESCU_Mihai, not sure what you're asking, but sites can be accessed anonymously, without registering or logging in (what you can do without any rep is limited; rep is associated with an account). Logging in requires a password to verify who you are, like anywhere else.

Should we do something about the high number of Jenkins questions with no votes and no answers?
@jayhendren, just to add a thought, tags that are generally off-topic have words to that effect in the wiki excerpt. Not many posters pay attention to that, but it provides guidance to readers and reviewers so new questions can get migrated (if nobody is familiar with it, they don't know to vote to migrate). If you think it is in that category, it might be worth posting here in Meta, suggesting that guidance be added to the wiki excerpt (you could just propose an edit to it, but if nobody is familiar with it, the edit might not go anywhere). That might help a bit.
